DAMASCUS, (BM) – Russian Su-24 bombers bombed pro-Turkish militants and terrorists who launched an offensive in Syrian Idlib. This is stated in the statement of the Center for the Reconciliation of the warring parties (CPVS) in Syria, which was received by the editors of “Lenta.ru“, learned BulgarianMilitary.com.
The organization said the airstrike helped the Syrian military repel attacks by militants who managed to break through the defenses of government forces in the area of the village of Nairab. The destruction of one tank, six infantry fighting vehicles and five rebel pickups is reported.
Turkey stopped artillery attacks on Syrian government forces in Idlib after Russia spotted them and informed Ankara about it. This is stated in a statement to the Center for Reconciliation of the warring parties in Syria (CPVS), received by the editorial office of “Lenta.ru“.
The organization emphasized that this is not the first case of support for militants from the Turkish armed forces. Russia called on Ankara to stop supporting terrorists and transfer arms to them.
As a result of an airstrike in the Syrian province of Idlib, two Turkish soldiers died and five were injured. Because of whose bombardment the military died, it is not specified.

DAMASCUS, (BM) – Russian bombers destroyed Turkish tanks, 18 MLRS installations and about 50 armored personnel carriers, learned BulgarianMilitary.com citing news agency Aviapro publication.
Erdogan’s violation of the agreements with Moscow resulted in huge losses for Turkey in Syria. Since the beginning of last week, Turkish troops and pro-Turkish terrorists have lost almost a hundred units of armored vehicles illegally transported to Syria, and it’s not Syria, but Russian military aviation that is crushing the enemy.
According to the arguments of local and foreign news agencies, today Turkey has lost at least 23 tanks in Syria (including 4 Leopard tanks – approx. Ed.), About 50 armored personnel carriers and armored vehicles, 18 MLRS installations, more than 20 military trucks and 2 warehouses with weapons and ammunition.
Attacks of Russian military aircraft were carried out mainly on the largest accumulations of equipment, and often, armored vehicles were destroyed immediately when crossing the Turkish-Syrian border.

It wasn't too long ago that I reported on Betelgeuse, and how astronomers are witnessing the supergiant star pulsating and dimming. Astronomers estimate that the star has about 100,000 years left in its life, but what they don't know is why it's dimming at unprecedented rates, raising the question of whether or not it's going to explode sooner rather than later.
Veteran Villanova University astronomer Edward Guinan and his team have collated some brand new data, which indicates that Betelgeuse could be in the middle of a 430-day pulsation period. The end of that pulsation period is estimated to be on February 21st and should bring the star to its dimmest state yet. Guinan says, "So something very unusual is going on" as Betelgeuse even now appears to be dimmer than what he and his team expected it to be.
