Hello Unknown. In non Catholic branches of the Christian faith, there is a lack of understanding into distinguishing between Grace, per se, and being in a State of Grace, as defined by the Doctrine of the Catholic Church.
DeleteI have written much over the sacrament of Reconciliation/Confession over the past 15 years, on here and through my books, so I won't go into a theological sermon here, but there is a reason why the Catholic Faith is in Fact the Kingdom of Heaven, established here on earth, by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
There is a reason why the enemy has for centuries attempted to subvert from within and without, the tenets of the Faith. There is a reason why the masons, Zionists, and a host of other secret sects and luciferian groups have tried their best to infiltrate and corrupt the Church from within in order to take away its public authority, or perception of that moral authority that it's had for centuries. There's a reason why the enemy even now, through other Christian denominations, through ignorance, attacks such vital teachings of the Church, in order to create further confusion and further alienate people, from the very thing that will help in their Salvation.
There's a reason why the Church has been around for 2000 years, through peaks and valleys, and continues to fulfill its role in God's mighty will.
And there's a reason why Jesus, through Peter, not only changed his name from Simon, to Cephas, but in the Gospel of John asked him 3x, 'Do you love me?' Then ended it with, 'Feed my Sheep. There's a reason for Christmas, or the Mass, of Christ, which was instituted by and through the Church centuries ago. God bless.
