THE STATEMENT RELEASED BY THE WHITE HOUSE LAST NIGHT, AND REPORTED ON THIS MORNING, WAS SOMETHING THAT I HAVE BEEN WARNING ABOUT FOR MONTHS AND KNEW IT WAS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE IT APPEARED.

The United States might be preparing for a "preemptive" attack on Syrian government troops as the White House warned of a possible chemical attack allegedly planned by Damascus, senior Russian lawmaker Konstantin Kosachev said Tuesday.

Less than three months after the US launched 49 cruise missiles at a Syrian airbase in early April, allegedly in retaliation for a chemical attack conducted by Assad forces, in an ominous statement issued with no supporting evidence or further explanation, on Monday night the White House warned that the U.S. has “identified potential preparations for another chemical weapons attack by the Assad regime” in Syria and warned that Assad would “pay a heavy price” if one took place.
Such an attack “would likely result in the mass murder of civilians, including innocent children,” White House (outgoing) spokesman Sean Spicer added, noting the activity is “similar to preparations the regime made before its April 4, 2017 chemical weapons attack.”
“As we have previously stated, the United States is in Syria to eliminate the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria.  If, however, Mr. Assad conducts another mass murder attack using chemical weapons, he and his military will pay a heavy price,” the White House added on Monday night.

Predictably, the White House has provided no immediate evidence to back up its claims, however in a media world that is desperate for clicks, we doubt many will demand proof this time, unlike the April strike, when Russia requested a broad UN inquiry into whether Assad indeed used chemical weapons, in which the US has declined to participate for obvious reasons.
April's strike put Washington in confrontation with Russia, which has advisers in Syria aiding its close ally Assad. US officials at the time called the intervention a "one-off" intended to deter future chemical weapons attacks and not an expansion of the U.S. role in the Syrian war. The United States has taken a series of actions over the past three months demonstrating its willingness to carry out strikes, mostly in self-defense, against Syrian government forces and their backers, including Iran.
And, as if expressly intending to further deteriorate already abysmal relations with Russia, shortly after the White House statement, the US ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley said on Twitter: "Any further attacks done to the people of Syria will be blamed on Assad, but also on Russia and Iran who support him killing his own people."

IN THE DREAM I SAW THIS BIG SHIPS SAILING IN AND OUT OF THESE WATERS WITH DIFFERENT NATION'S FLAGS. THEY APPEARED TO BE NORMAL SHIPPING VESSELS, NOT MILITARY ONES. BUT THE VOICE THAT EXPLAINS THINGS TO ME IN MY DREAMS SAID," YOU SEE THESE SHIPS? THESE ARE ALL CHINESE SHIPS THAT ARE USING DIFFERENT NATION'S FLAGS TO FOOL OTHERS. THEN, ABOUT TWO WEEKS AGO WE ALL SAW AND HEARD THE STORY OF THIS JAPANESE CARGO SHIP THAT RAMMED THIS HIGH TECH, STATE OF THE ART U.S. WARSHIP.
IMMEDIATELY MY THOUGHTS WERE, "HOW COULD THIS BIG BULKY, SLOW MOVING SHIP SNEAK UP AND RAM THIS DESTROYER???"



IT DIDN'T SEEM POSSIBLE, SOMETHING WAS MISSING. THEN, ON SATURDAY, I READ THIS ARTICLE ON THE BEFORE ITS NEWS SITE, [WHICH ISN'T VERY RELIABLE MOST OF THE TIME] ABOUT HOW THIS CARGO SHIP WAS POSSIBLY CARRYING AN EMP WEAPON THAT DISABLED THE WARSHIP AS IT SAILED BY IT, THEN MAKING A U-TURN, COMING BACK TOWARDS THE DESTROYER AND RAMMING IT, DUE TO THE FACT THAT IT WAS NOW A SITTING DUCK, DUE TO THE EMP WEAPON THAT WAS USED.
I THOUGHT ABOUT IT, AND THEN THOUGH ABOUT THE DREAM THAT I HAD HAD YEARS AGO ABOUT HOW THESE SHIPS, THAT WERE ALL MADE TO LOOK AS 'NORMAL' SAILING VESSELS, WERE ACTUALLY HIDING THESE SECRET WEAPONS AND THEN IT MADE SENSE AS TO WHAT HAD OCCURRED THAT NIGHT THE WARSHIP WAS STRUCK.
THE PENTAGON DOESN'T WANT TO ADMIT THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED FOR OBVIOUS REASONS, AND NEITHER DO OTHER NATIONS, SO THE STORY ALWAYS MAINTAINS THAT IT IS UNDER INVESTIGATION BY THE U.S. NAVY, BUT NO FURTHER DETAILS HAVE BEEN GIVEN SINCE THAT NIGHT.
ALSO RECALL THAT U.S. SHIP THAT WAS STRUCK BY ANOTHER EMP WEAPON WHEN A RUSSIAN PLANE FLEW BY IT IN THE BLACK SEA AROUND TWO YEARS AGO. IT TOO WAS TURNED INTO A SITTING DUCK.

Russia will respond with dignity and proportionately if the United States takes pre-emptive measures against Syrian government forces to stop what Washington says could be a planned chemical attack, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Wednesday. Speaking at a news conference with his German counterpart, Lavrov said he hoped that the United States was not preparing to use its intelligence assessments about the Syrian government's intentions as a pretext to mount a "provocation" in Syria.
