Vatican City — Retired Pope Benedict XVI left the Vatican June 18 for his first sojourn abroad since renouncing the papal ministry in 2013, in order to visit his ailing 96-year-old brother in Germany.
In a statement to NCR confirming the visit to Regensburg after several reports in German-language media outlets, Vatican spokesman Matteo Bruni said Benedict was accompanied by his secretary, Archbishop Georg Ganswein, two medical professionals, and several security guards.
Bruni did not say when Benedict would be returning to the Vatican. He said the ex-pontiff would "spend the time necessary" for the visit.
Benedict, aged 93, is the former Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger. His brother, Msgr. Georg Ratzinger, is known to be in ill health.
The Vatican did not say how Benedict had traveled to Germany, but flight tracking sites indicated an Italian Air Force plane had left Rome's Ciampino Airport that morning bound for Munich, about 80 miles south of Regensburg.
Italian reports indicated that Pope Francis visited with Benedict shortly before the ex-pontiff left for Germany.

In a statement, the diocese of Regensburg asked that people respect the private nature of Benedict's visit.
"It is a bedside visit," said the diocese. "It may be the last time that the two brothers, Georg and Joseph Ratzinger, see each other in this world."
The diocese said Benedict would be staying at the diocesan seminary during his visit, and that "the date of his return journey has not yet been determined."

I THOUGHT THIS VERY SIGNIFICANT BECAUSE A POPE LEAVING THE VATICAN IS ONE OF THE SIGNS THAT IS FOUND IN MANY DIFFERENT PROPHECIES, THAT SIGNAL THAT ALL HELL IS ABOUT TO BREAK LOOSE!

TODAY, AS I RETURNED HOME FROM A QUICK LUNCH, I SAW IN MY YARD, A SEEMINGLY HEALTHY TREE, HAD FALLEN OVER, BREAKING COMPLETELY FROM ITS BASE!
THE PICTURE ABOVE IS NOT MY TREE, BUT YOU GET THE IDEA.
AS I SAW THAT TREE, IT REMINDED ME OF THAT DREAM I HAD HAD BACK  IN FEB. OF 2019, FROM THAT POST ABOVE.
THESE TWO SIGNS I RECEIVED TODAY TELL ME THAT IT'S ABOUT TO START FOLKS!

I HOPE YOU ARE ALL DOING WELL AND ARE HEALTHY AND SAFE. I JUST WANTED TO COME ON HERE TODAY AND DESCRIBE A DREAM FROM LAST NIGHT, AND TO LET YOU ALL KNOW THAT I'M GOING TO BE TAKING A SABBATICAL FROM WRITING ON THIS SITE, AND IN GENERAL.
FIRST MY DREAM:

IN MY DREAM I SAW IMAGES, AS THEY WERE HAPPENING, LIVE, AS IF I WAS FLYING ABOVE.
DOWN BELOW I COULD SEE EXPLOSIONS, AND BALLS OF FIRES ERUPTING FROM ALL OVER THE LAND.
IT SOMEWHAT LOOKED LIKE THE NAPALM BOMBING IMAGE FROM ABOVE.
IT JUST KEPT ERUPTING INTO FLAMES. EVERYTHING FROM JUST THE COUNTRY SIDE, TO CITIES, TO EVERYWHERE. IT ALL JUST KEPT BEING HIT, AND THEN THE ROLLING FIRE BALLS!
I KNEW THAT WHAT I WAS SEEING WAS HAPPENING IN A CERTAIN STATE TOO.
THE NEXT THING I WANTED TO ADDRESS IS THAT I HAVE DECIDED TO TAKE A BREAK FROM WRITING FOR A WHILE.
I'VE SPENT 15 YEARS WRITING AND RESEARCHING AND LATELY I'VE BEEN VERY DRAINED AND VERY WORN OUT.
THIS LEAVE OF MINE MIGHT BE FOR A MONTH, OR A YEAR, OR MORE, I DON'T KNOW RIGHT NOW, BUT WHAT I DO KNOW IS THAT I'M GOING TO BE TAKING A BREAK.

I FEEL THAT THERE IS ENOUGH INFORMATION OUT THERE FROM ALL THAT I'VE WRITTEN IN 15 YEARS, THAT YOU ALL WOULD KNOW WHAT MY TAKE IS ON BASICALLY ANY TOPIC OF DISCUSSION.
I'VE WRITTEN 9 BOOKS, NONE OF WHICH HAVE REALLY SOLD, BUT AT LEAST THEY'RE THERE FOR RESEARCH AND REFERENCE PURPOSES.

What is it used for?

The tea made from the leaves is taken to treat coughs, pertussis (whooping cough), urinary infections, and to lower cholesterol (Estrada and Morales, 2002). The roots are edible and are candied as sweets or boiled or roasted. The juice extracted or decocted from the root is drunk as an aphrodisiac, for its diuretic action, and to induce uterine contractions. The plant is combined with other medicinal herbs for the treatment of gonorrhea (Mabberley, 2008; Martinez, 1989). Mexican thistle is taken to dissolve kidney and gall bladder stones, to treat cancer, lower cholesterol and triglycerides, for angina and to prevent atherosclerosis (Argueta, 2014; Jimenez, 2012; Mendoza-Castelán and Lugo-Pérez, 2011; Berdonces, 2009).
A study undertaken by Klein-Junior et al (2016) concluded that various Eryngium species, due to their monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitory action, have potential application as a source of promising central nervous system bioactive secondary metabolites, especially related to the treatment of various neurodegenerative disorders.
Various species of the genus eryngo are used for the treatment of snakebite, as well as to repel snakes (Quattrocchi, 2012; Mabberley, 2008). Additionally, some species are employed as spices and used for the treatment of diverse health issues including asthma, burns, fever, high blood pressure, gastrointestinal problems, diarrhea, and malaria. Some are a rich source of diverse types of phytochemicals, including flavonoids, tannins, saponins, and triterpenoids, among others. The plants’ essential oil possesses important antimicrobial and antiseptic actions (Erdem et al., 2015; Celik et al., 2011).
Studies have shown that the methanolic extracts of E. heterophyllum possess active ingredients that have promising action for the treatment of infectious protozoan diseases, such as trypanosomiasis, for example (Molina-Garza, et al, 2014).

I DO BELIEVE THAT THE ABOVE PLANT CAN BE VERY USEFUL IN NOT ONLY TREATING THE EFFECTS OF THAT TOXIC MAN MADE GERM, BUT IN PREVENTING IT AS WELL.
THE NATIVES OF BOTH NORTH AND CENTRAL AMERICA HAVE USED IT FOR CENTURIES FOR EVERYTHING FROM SNAKE BITES, TO HEART RELATED ISSUES, AND EVEN MORE.
I SUGGEST YOU ALL REALLY LOOK INTO AND USE THIS PLANT, NOT JUST FOR THIS GERM SCARE, BUT EVEN JUST FOR REGULAR HEALTH CONDITIONS.
