US Ground Troops In Syria Is "Illegal, Big Mistake", Russia Warns Obama Of "Unpredictable Consequences"

On Tuesday, Defense Secretary Ash Carter told the Senate Armed Services Committee that the US would no longer hesitate to engage in “direct action on the ground” in Iraq and Syria. 
The change in rhetoric (and apparent shift in strategy) comes just days after the US seemingly prepared the public for what might be coming by releasing helmet cam footage of what Washington says was a raid on an ISIS prison by Delta Force (accompanied by the Peshmerga). 70 prisoners were allegedly freed although not before the US suffered its first combat death in Iraq since 2011.
The timing of the video is suspect, to say the least. It came just days after Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Joe Dunford visited Iraqi PM Haider al-Abadi in an effort to dissuade Baghdad from requesting Russian airstrikes on ISIS targets. In short, it appears as though Washington is trying to simultaneously,  i) prove to Mid-East governments that the US can still be effective in the fight against terrorism even as questions remain about ulterior motives and even as Russia racks up gains in Syria, ii) prepare the public for the possibility that America is about to put boots on the ground in Iraq and Syria. BEIJING — A state-run Chinese newspaper has claimed the country is "not afraid to fight a war" with the U.S.
"In face of the U.S. harassment, Beijing should deal with Washington tactfully and prepare for the worst," according to the editorial in the Global Times, which came just a day after an American destroyer sailed into disputed waters in an open challenge to Beijing. The newspaper is known to represent the more extreme and nationalistic views of China's political establishment.
"This can convince the White House that China, despite its unwillingness, is not afraid to fight a war with the U.S. in the region, and is determined to safeguard its national interests and dignity," it added.

It's On: Obama Sends Destroyer To Chinese Islands, China Vows Military Response

For anyone who might still be somehow unaware, the US is currently in a superpower staring match with both Russia and China. The conflict in Syria has put Moscow back on the geopolitical map (so to speak), creating an enormous amount of tension with Washington whose regional allies have been left to look on in horror as Russian airstrikes and an Iranian ground incursion dash hopes of ousting President Bashar al-Assad.
Meanwhile, in The South China Sea, Beijing has built 3,000 acres of new sovereign territory atop reefs in the Spratlys and although the reclamation effort itself isn’t unique, the scope of it most certainly is and Washington’s friends in the South Pacific are crying foul.
Beijing has continually insisted that it doesn’t intend to use the islands as military outposts, but the construction of runways and ports seems to tell a different story and so, Washington felt compelled to check things out over the summer by sending a Poseidon spy plane complete with a CNN crew to the area. Once the PLA spotted the plane the situation escalated quickly with the Chinese Navy telling US pilots to “Go Now!”
After that, an intense war of words developed with Defense Secretary Ash Carter insisting that the US would sail and fly anywhere it pleased and Beijing assuring the US that sailing within 12 nautical miles of the islands would prompt a harsh response from the PLA.
For weeks, the US was rumored to have been planning a freedom of navigation exercise in the Spratlys which, as we’ve pointed out several times this month, amounts to sailing by the islands just to see if China will shoot.
Now, according to CNN, Obama has given the green light and the ships may sail within 24 hours:

The US navy is poised to start freedom of navigation operations in the South China Sea in a high-stakes effort to push back against Chinese territorial claims over artificial islands in the disputed waters.

In a move that will enrage Beijing, the USS Lassen, a guided-missile destroyer, will sail inside the 12-nautical mile zones of two man-made islands — Subi and Mischief reefs — that China has built in the contested Spratly Island chain. A senior US defence official said it would sail through the area in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

China has repeatedly warned that it would not tolerate any effort to violate what it considers its territory. Earlier this month, a senior Chinese naval officer said the People’s Liberation Army would hand a “head-on blow” to any foreign forces that violated Chinese sovereignty. His comments came after the Financial Times reported that the US was poised to launch its operations.

The manoeuvre will mark the first time since 2012 that the US navy has sailed through the 12-nautical mile zone surrounding any islands claimed by China. It is aimed at demonstrating that Washington does not recognise any territorial claims over artificial islands in the South China Sea.

It's also worth noting that should the US manage to get away with this without sparking a shooting war with the Chinese, it now looks as though Washington is leaning toward making this a regular patrol. Here's a bit of color from Reuters out over the weekend:

A range of security experts said Washington's so-called freedom of navigation patrols would have to be regular to be effective, given Chinese ambitions to project power deep into maritime Southeast Asia and beyond.

"This cannot be a one-off," said Ian Storey, a South China Sea expert at Singapore's Institute of Southeast Asian Studies.

"The U.S. navy will have to conduct these kinds of patrols on a regular basis to reinforce their message."

But China would likely resist attempts to make such U.S. actions routine, some said, raising the political and military stakes. China's navy could for example try to block or attempt to surround U.S. vessels, they said, risking an escalation.

Here we have both Washington and Beijing risking an outright military confrontation over what amount to a couple of sandcastles and while there's probably some truth to the contention that China has plans for the islands that go beyond growing plants, building lighthouses, and raising pigs, it's not as though the PLA is going to invade The Philippines so at the end of the day, this looks like another example of what Vladimir Putin recently suggested is evidence that the world is losing its collective mind.

VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - Pope Francis, ending a contentious bishops' meeting on family issues, on Saturday excoriated immovable Church leaders who "bury their heads in the sand" and hide behind rigid doctrine while families suffer.
[BURY THEIR HEADS IN THE SAND??? AND HIDE BEHIND RIGID DOCTRINE??? WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME A POPE SAID THE CHURCH'S DOCTRINE WAS RIGID??? OR CRITICIZED HIS OWN CARDINALS AND BISHOPS FOR NOT ADOPTING THE VERY PHILOSOPHIES THAT WOULD UNDERMINE THE CHURCH??? THIS POPE IS VERY OPEN ABOUT WHAT HIS REAL AGENDA IS!]


The pope spoke at the end of a three-week gathering, known as a synod, where the bishops agreed to a qualified opening toward divorcees who have remarried outside the Church but rejected calls for more welcoming language toward homosexuals.
It was the latest in a series of admonitions to bishops by the pontiff, who has stressed since his election in 2013 that the 1.2 billion-member Church should be open to change, side with the poor and rid itself of the pomp and stuffiness that has alienated so many Catholics.
[ADMONITIONS, THAT MEANS FRANCIS IS ANGRY THAT HE AND HIS FELLOW FALSE CLERGY, MASONIC, ARE NOT GETTING THEIR WAY! HE IS BASICALLY CHEWING OUT THE BISHOPS BECAUSE HE IS NOT GETTING HIS WAY.]


In his final address, the pope appeared to criticize ultra-conservatives, saying Church leaders should confront difficult issues "fearlessly, without burying our heads in the sand."
He said the synod had "laid bare the closed hearts which frequently hide even behind the Church's teachings or good intentions, in order to sit in the chair of Moses and judge, sometimes with superiority and superficiality, difficult cases and wounded families".
[IT IS THE CHURCH'S JOB TO BE JUDGMENTAL. IT IS THROUGH WISE DISCERNMENT THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT HAS GUIDED THE CHURCH AND ITS TRUE LEADERS FOR OVER 2,000 YEARS. THE CHURCH'S JOB HAS NEVER BEEN TO GIVE IN TO THE WHIMS AND EVIL TRENDS OF THE TIME. REMEMBER WHAT JESUS SAID IN MATTHEW 7:6, "DO NOT GIVE WHAT IS HOLY TO THE DOGS," OR IN MATTHEW 13:45, "DO NOT THROW PEARLS BEFORE SWINE."
THIS IS A CLEAR MESSAGE JESUS WAS SENDING TO HIS APOSTLES ABOUT PROTECTING WHAT IS OF VALUE AND NOT GIVING IT TO SOMETHING OR SOMEONE THAT WOULD NOT EVEN RECOGNIZE THE VALUE OF IT!
BUT HERE, FRANCIS IS TELLING HIS OWN BISHOPS AND CARDINALS THAT WANT TO PROTECT WHAT IS HOLY, TO "GIVE WHAT IS HOLY TO THE DOGS, AND PUT PEARLS ON THE SWINE!!!"
NOT ONLY THIS, BUT HE IS USING THE PRETEXT THAT IT IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO AND OUT OF MERCY AND COMPASSION. WHAT A JOKE THIS MAN TRULY IS!!!!!!


He also decried "conspiracy theories" and the "blinkered viewpoints" of some at the gathering, and said the Church could not transmit its message to new generations "at times encrusted in a language which is archaic or simply incomprehensible".
[IT IS INTERESTING THAT NOW EVEN POPE FRANCIS IS DECRYING "CONSPIRACY THEORIES." IT REMINDS ME OF WHAT GEORGE W. BUSH SAID POST 911. HE TOO DECRIED THOSE CRAZY CONSPIRACY THEORIES ABOUT HOW THE GOVERNMENT KNEW AND CARRIED OUT THAT FALSE FLAG.
IT SEEMS THAT THOSE IN POWER IN THE LAST 15 YEARS OR SO, ARE REALIZING THAT PEOPLE ARE NO LONGER BUYING WHAT THEY ARE SELLING AND TURN THEIR FINGERS ON THOSE "CRAZY CONSPIRACY THEORISTS," OR WHAT I LIKE TO CALL, " CRITICAL THINKERS!" HERE FRANCIS TOO IS TELLING PEOPLE, LIKE IN THE WIZARD OF OZ MOVIE, "PAY NO ATTENTION TO THAT MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN!"
FRANCIS ALSO IS TRYING TO MAKE THE POINT THAT THE CHURCH NEEDS "NEW LANGUAGE" TO REACH THE NEW "IDIOT"GENERATIONS BECAUSE THE VALUED, AND BLACK AND WHITE SPEECH OF THE CHURCH THAT ALWAYS IS OBJECTIVE IN NATURE AND POINTS TO THE TRUTH, IS "TOO ARCHAIC OR SIMPLY INCOMPREHENSIBLE" ACCORDING TO FRANCIS.]


The outcome of the gathering, over which the pope presided, marked a victory for conservatives on homosexual issues and for progressives on the thorny issue of remarriage.
The final synod document restated Church teachings that gays should not suffer discrimination in society, but also repeated the stand that there was "no foundation whatsoever" for same-sex marriage, which "could not even remotely" be compared to heterosexual unions.
The 94-article document indicated that the assembly had decided to avoid overtly controversial language and seek consensus in order to avoid deadlock on the most sensitive topics, leaving it up to the pope to deal with the details.
The synod is an advisory body that does not have the power to alter church doctrine. The pope, who is the final arbiter on any change and who has called for a more merciful and inclusive Church, can use the material to write his own document, known as an "apostolic exhortation".


HOPE FOR DIVORCEES
The synod document did offer some hope for the full re-integration into the Church of some Catholics who divorce and remarry in civil ceremonies.
Under current Church doctrine they cannot receive communion unless they abstain from sex with their new partner, because their first marriage is still valid in the eyes of the Church and they are seen to be living in an adulterous state of sin.
They only way such Catholics can remarry is if they receive an annulment, a ruling that their first marriage never existed in the first place because of the lack of certain pre-requisites such as psychological maturity or free will.
The document spoke of a so-called "internal forum" in which a priest or a bishop may work with a Catholic who has divorced and remarried to decide jointly, privately and on a case-by-case basis if he or she can be fully re-integrated.
"In order for this happen, the necessary conditions of humility, discretion, love for the Church and her teachings must be guaranteed in a sincere search for God's will," the document said.
Tally sheets showed that the three articles on the divorced and re-married were the most fought-over, reaching the two-thirds majority needed to remain in the document by only a few votes each. One passed by only one vote.
Progressives have for years been advocating the "internal forum" and some observers said the mere fact that phrase was included in the document was a victory for those promoting merciful change.
During the synod, some bishops said the Church should introduce welcoming and inclusive language regarding homosexuals, such as calling them "brothers, sisters and colleagues" in the document.
But Cardinal Christoph Schoenborn of Vienna told reporters many of the 270 bishops felt homosexuality was still "too delicate a theme" in their countries. During the meeting, African bishops were particularly adamant in their opposition to welcoming language toward homosexuals, saying it would only confuse the faithful.

At a preliminary meeting a year ago, conservative clerics made sure an interim report deleted a passage they thought was too welcoming to gays.

PEOPLE LOCK THEIR DOORS ON THEIR CARS AND HOMES BECAUSE THERE IS SOMETHING OF VALUE THAT THEY ARE TRYING TO PROTECT. ONLY 1 OR 2 KEYS EXIST TO THOSE ITEMS, THATS WHAT MAKES HIM THE EXLUSIVE OWNER OF SAID THINGS.
FRANCIS IS SAYING LET US DO AWAY WITH LOCKS AND HAVE AN OPEN HOUSE FOR ANY ONE AND EVERY ONE REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THEY HAVE REPENTED.

The reason I say it will be my final book is because something tells me it will. I have never said that about the other books, but this one I can feel that it will be my final book because between now and October 13th 2017, all hell will break loose on the world stage, as it is already happening with the major superpowers. I feel the Good Lord wants me to issue the last warnings now, hence why it is titled, "The Final signs of the times."

Time is running out on this world of ours. The illuminati want the world war as they will use this war and its destructive consequences to usher in their long awaited satanic messiah figure on the world stage, if only but for a brief time as it has been prophesied.

I know my book will not sell a million, nor a thousand, not even a hundred copies, because it's not supposed to. John the Bapstist's words only reached a few ears, as did all of the other prophets throughout Scripture. The Illuminati publishers, and their books regarding the Rapture, and other like themes sell millions of copies, but a little insignificant book like mine is only for a small group, just as Jesus' last supper meal was only for a small group.

But the small group, just like the mustard seed will one day grow to be a mighty movement. A movement I probably will never see, but it will be one where people will reject and denounce all things Masonic, and anything that has even the slightest scent of secret rites, rituals and movements.
